Operating Guidelines & Maintenance
- Safety Factor: Operating pressure limits are calculated using a strict 4x safety factor verified with room temperature water testing.
- Temperature Derating: For operational fluid temperatures exceeding 100°C (212°F), scale down the maximum working pressure rating by 1% for every 1°C increase .
- E85/Alcohol Service Life: Because alcohol-based fuels naturally permeate CPE rubber core lines over time, DYME recommends a preventative maintenance replacement cycle of every 5 years for active fuel Hose, and is Needed for Systems That May Have Trace Exposure to Alcohol such as Oil Systems.
